The East Coast Ballet Foundation

501c3 Mission:
The East Coast Ballet Foundation is committed to enriching the lives of individuals in the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia communitities and beyond, through the art of dance.  The foundation will foster an appreciation and aesthetic awareness for the arts by providing a high standard of artistic instruction and performance opportunities for artists and students, and allow them to discover and develop their creative talents for the benefit of their community.

The foundation plans to achieve this mission through three main initiatives:

  1. Establishing a professional dance company whose members will become role models & inspire others.
  2. Establishing a dance theater to provide a venue for performance for both the company, the students, and the community.  This theater will include studios, and become a home to the school and the professional company, firmly establishing its commitment to professionalism and connection to the community.
  3. Providing high quality dance instruction to educate artists of all ages and backgrounds.

Our non-profit foundation relies on the generous support of individual giving and corporate sponsorship.  All donations are tax deductible and are 100% dedicated to outreach, scholarships for individuals who otherwise are unable to afford dance training, and the development of a professional company.  Our desire is to house a company of dancers which will give our student base future career opportunities as professional dancers.

Our Objective
East Coast Ballet's objective is to build skillful, well-rounded dancers, who truly master the language and art of dance, developing great confidence and abilities that will last a lifetime.  Beyond the classroom, ECB dancers have various opportunities to perform in professional-level venues including stage, television, and video through studio, community, church, and school presentations.

Whether dance students decide to continue dance as a carreer, or not, they will appreciate many wonderful benefits from attending the East Coast Ballet School. They develop confidence, faithfulness, self-control, decorum, physical dexterity, and a gratefulness for the arts, which they foster throughout their lives.
